This series addresses the unique academic challenges and social concerns connected with starting school, through Betsy, her family, and friends. The stories deal with real schoolroom and schoolyard situations from a child's perspective, with resolutions designed to instill confidence and social skills. Each episode teaches curriculum-based learning concepts in the subjects of reading, science, and math.
